Under the acquisition by C&R Software, social impact fintech SpringFour plans to continue innovating and bringing new solutions and products to the collections and debt recovery market. Constellation’s (C&R’s parent company’s) buy-and-hold policy ensures SpringFour has found a forever home for itself where the companies can grow with one another.

C&R Software has acquired SpringFour. While C&R and SpringFour appear to have different missions, Ed Wallen said “the companies’ services are actually complementary because both are aimed at helping lenders, local governments or any organization that collects payments from consumers improve repayment rates.” SpringFour works with organizations across industries to refer consumers who may be facing financial hardship to nonprofit and government organizations that provide financial health services such as food savings and affordable child care.

A financial wellness fintech with several big-name bank clients has been acquired by a debt recovery firm. SpringFour — whose CEO and founder Rochelle Nawrocki Gorey was named one of American Banker’s Most Influential Women in Fintech in 2024 — said it would become part of C&R Software, a firm that provides debt recovery and collections software to banks, utilities, telecom, healthcare, government and fintechs.
